Requesting an Burglar Alarm System Quotation, we can offer 3 services.
1. Secure I AM Supply and Install an Alarm System.
2. Secure I AM Supply a pre configured alarm system for you to install.
3. Supply a security system or parts as requested.
A basic System, should include, Panel, Keypad , Bell Box and various detection devices, but how many?
A door Contact for the Entry door.
A PIR in every room downstairs including the Hallway
A PIR on the Landing.
Keypad along the Entry Route usually the hallway.
Bell Box that can be seen and heard, usually front of property.
Panel some where in the property ideally not on show.

Detection Devices
Dual Technology Motion Sensor
for places like conservatories and garages.
Petwise or Pet Safe Motion Detectors
Designed to reduce the number of false alarms caused by your pets being in the building when the system is armed. These need to be matched with your pets size.
Premieter Protection
Internally or Externally placed sensors covering the buildings perimeter.
Motion Detectors - that cover specific areas, covering external walls or visitors entering the grounds of your property.
Shock sensors of Door Contacts on doors or windows that may be vulnerable to a break in attempt.
Communications
Speech or Text Dialler
Send a text message or to call a phone number to notify intruder alarm has been activated. These are usually GSM modules which require a subscription.
Alarm App
This can send a notification to your Phone, you can also arm and disarm your alarm system remotely, some manufactures charge a subscription for this service.
Monitored Keyholder or Police Response
This is when your alarm system communicates with an Alarm Recieving Center (ARC) and they contact a keyholder and or the police depending on the level of service you have. There are fees associated with this service.
Type of Alarm System
Hard wired - best option.
When upgrading from a hard wired system
When running cables is reltively easy. (floor coverings may need lifting channels in walls chasing out, so not always an option)
Wireless - If Hard wired is not possible
No existing wiring, floors covered in tiles, laminate floor or hard wood floors that can be difficult to remove so cables can be run.
Hybrid - Combination of Hardwired and Wireless.
Often done as panel upgrades from existing wired systems wree the cables are in good condition or it is relatively esy to run new cables. Wireless where cabling is not easily achieved
